By: Bethany Lindsay, ctvbc.ca
A Hindu priest in Abbotsford, B.C., has been charged with sex offences involving two young girls in his congregation.
Indian citizen Karam Vir, 31, appeared in court Tuesday on two charges of sexual exploitation and one count of sexual assault.

The investigation into Vir began in March, when a girl who attends the Hindu Temple approached police with allegations of sexual misconduct. A second alleged victim later came forward.
Both girls are younger than 18 years old.
Const. Ian MacDonald said that the investigation is ongoing, and police are asking any other alleged victims to come forward.
"Any time you're dealing with a case like this, we have to entertain the possibility that there's other victims," he told ctvbc.ca.
